Senior Ruby on Rails Developer
Location: remote work from any country except Russia and Ukraine
Role Overview: We are looking for a seasoned Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Ruby on Rails development, but also keen interest in working with optimizing performance of web apps, background jobs and large databases.
Key Responsibilities: Identify and solve performance bottlenecks. Use APMs with high traffic Ruby on Rails applications to ensure stability and scalability. Propose partitioning, sharding and replication solutions. Introduce and utilize caches to improve throughput. Maintain quality and work closely with the infrastructure team to ensure optimal use of resources.

Specializing in tools for companies with remote teams of various sizes and industries, our global team of over 100 people in 30+ countries thrives on a remote culture with healthy coworker relationships.

Requirements:
- 5+ years web application backend development experience on Ruby on Rails.
- Knowledge of BI databases (especially Clickhouse).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- B2-C1 level of English.
